HOW LONG HAS XEON HOME HEALTHCARE SERVICES BEEN SERVING THE COMMUNITY?

Xeon Home Healthcare Services has been proudly serving the community since 2004.

DOES XEON HHS PROVIDE LITERATURE EXPLAINING ITS SERVICES, ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS, FEES AND FUNDING SOURCES?

Xeon Home Healthcare Services has several brochures and an admission packet which includes and describes Patient’s Bill of Rights, emergency plan, confidentiality, our services, admission criteria, mission and philosophy, Medicare guidelines, Advance Directives/Durable Power of Attorney, and safety information.

HOW DOES XEON HHS SELECT AND TRAIN ITS EMPLOYEES?

Xeon HHS Home Healthcare Services performs a thorough screening on each beneficiary care employee including:

  • Professional license check, if applicable

  • Criminal background check including fingerprinting

  • Driver license check

  • Two business and one personal reference required

All healthcare employees are fully licensed or certified, as well as insured and bonded.  Xeon HHS uses monthly online training courses to keep our staff current in their skills and knowledge. Each employee goes through an extensive orientation and training program upon hire and is assigned to a preceptor who closely monitors the employee’ s progress.

DOES XEON HHS ASSIGN SUPERVISORS TO OVERSEE THE QUALITY OF CARE BENEFICIARIES ARE RECEIVING IN THEIR HOMES?

Yes, every employee has a clinical supervisor that oversees the care beneficiaries are receiving. All staff are evaluated at least annually by their supervisor during a home visit. The home health aides are supervised every two weeks by a RN.  Our clinical supervisors are always available to our staff and beneficiaries for questions or help.

WILL I HAVE A CHOICE OF WHO COMES TO MY HOME?

Yes. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process. And with our proprietary screening and selection system, you can rest assured that we do our best to take the guess work out of matching the right caregiver to you and your family. However, you must be satisfied. We always try to accommodate any requests you may have for a change in caregivers (as allowed by law).

WILL MY FAMILY MEMBER ALWAYS RECEIVE CARE FROM THE SAME CAREGIVER?

Our goal is to establish a long-term caregiving relationship with your loved one. Should your family want to request another caregiver for any reason, we'll search for a match until your family is happy. We understand that a strong rapport and trust with a caregiver is vital to a successful home care experience.
If your loved one receives care for many hours in a day or at different times of the day throughout the week, it may be necessary to schedule more than one caregiver in a given week. If your family requires multiple caregivers, our goal is the same: we want you to be satisfied and happy. We'll do what it takes within policy to make sure we achieve that goal.

XEON HOME HEALTHCARE SERVICES SEEMS LIKE A GOOD CHOICE. WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?

Give us a call. We'll arrange a time to visit you, your family and/or any authorized representative to fully discuss your particular home care situation and how Xeon HHS might help.
Together, we'll go over the care your family needs and the care we provide. We'll answer all of your questions regarding home healthcare services and costs. Then, we'll begin putting together your Custom Care Plan and matching your loved one with the right caregiver. Usually, care can begin within a matter of a few days.

HOW ARE THE BENEFICIARY'S HOME HEALTH CARE NEEDS DETERMINED?

All beneficiaries home health care needs are evaluated during the first visit by a RN.

WHAT IS THE CRITERIA FOR HOME HEALTH CARE?

In order to qualify for Personal Care Services (PCS), Medicaid beneficiaries are required to have active Medicaid at the time of service.  The Medicaid beneficiary may have service restrictions due to their eligibility category that would make them ineligible for PCS.  Beneficiaries who are enrolled with N.C. Health Choice (NCHC) do not qualify for Personal CARE Services.
